Day Five: Twenty-One Days with God

Day Five: Twenty-One Days with God

On day five God began to deal yet again with my praise and the avenue in which I would often default to get into his presence. Just when you think you’ve heard God and you got it; he reminds you that there is still so much more to know about the place you are standing in.

Don’t rely on an outside source to get you into the presence of God, i.e. music, etc… If it takes something outside of yourself to get you into God’s presence then you better be sure it’s really God’s presence because all music (even Christian in nature) is not of God or motivated by him. And ultimately you’ll be in the presence of the creator of the music and not God. Enter His courts with praise and his gate with thanks giving; it needs to be your praise and thanksgiving.  Not saying it’s wrong to let a praise team lead you there in a congregational setting, but to enter in, it has to be personal, they will only expose the gate but your personal praise is what will get YOU in!!!!! Learn how to enter his presence in complete quiet and in complete chaos, with the Holy Spirit guiding your way! And when you get there don’t run and don’t be afraid. Let Him love on you and give you divine instruction.  The enemy cannot enter into PERFECT PRAISE!!!

He also ministered to me about what it meant to be a true submitted wife; something that I pride myself in.  He said that a submitted woman doesn’t need to be acknowledged as being right when wrong decisions have been made by her husband. She simply stands firm beside him with their full support in his ability to lead their home. And she continually girds him up in prayer. Ladies we can be right and wrong at the same time.  If we are right with the message but wrong with the delivery you will be ineffective in achieving the goal.  Remember ladies humility and submission are powerful weapons and will land you in great graces with your husband.

Wow…ready to move forward into day six…

…..to be continued!
